customer service!

Today, I wanted to get something for my DSLR.. It's a remote control that can help to take the pictures! Anyway, I started my search at H***** N*****. The sales girl was so FREAKING RUDE!!! I asked her nicely, and she gave me this judging stare, crossed her arms and shook her head. Just shook her head! No words or anything! If only I took out my camera and took a picture of her or something!

The best customer service I have ever encountered is probably Apple. I made a photo book a while back in Dec 08 intending it to be my parent's Christmas present. When I realised that the book will arrive late, I sent Apple an email. Like just a few hours later (I didn't send it during working hours), an email was sent back. And the guy was polite and he seemed like a nice friendly guy! Of course, in emails it's easier to sound polite and all.. but what happened after I got the package only added to the excellence of Apple.

I received an email, not because he had to send it, or that I sent him an email. The email was asking whether I had received my package (of course the email was very businessy and formal with a hint of happiness in it!). That simple email, really surprised me!

Just one of the many reasons I love Apple. They have great software, great innovations and great people working there!
